Update

Unfortunately this kitty passed over into Rainbow Bridge a week after we had taken her in.  

We got her a few days before Christmas. Her prognosis is very poor.  After spending two weeks out side in this condition she was finally trapped, maybe she just gave up.  Appears to have been caught in a fan belt, maybe trying to get warm in a car motor.  At least her last nights will be warm and safe.

Molly was adopted out a few years ago to a good friend and great animal person.  Molly was killed by a hit and run driver June 6, 2008.  She will be missed by us all.  The pleasure she gave to us over the years is immeasurable. She was everyone's favorite dog...Spoiled rotten of course, well taken care of and loved more than anyone knew.   She definitely was a free spirit - always on the scent of a rabbit, field mouse, woodchuck or bird.     Everyone was outside, Mollie was playing nearby, we had no idea she snuck off thru the woods...and the main road."

Simon 15+ year old male cat who was abandoned at a local  bar and was to be taken to a vet and killed. When we got him he was extremely thin, and had 80% of his hair missing with a severe flea and mite infestation. He is on soft food and needs a warm quiet environment. He passed in September 2008.

Si was a Special Needs cat with KMC and he finally lost his battle with Leukemia and passed over the weekend (June 2008).   For the short period of time I had him he never went hungary, or had to worry about getting into fights. He was shown lots of love and affection.   He was a very sweet cat, and will be missed by us all.
